Late K. Satyanarayana (1963 to 2016)

Late K. Satyanarayana is a well-known leader among social workers in Vishakapatnam and Hyderabad. He provided professional support and a wide variety of services to people who faced social difficulties. He spent his entire life addressing human needs in rural areas.  

Some of his prominent contributions towards the society include:

  • Mobilization of people in rural areas for community based activities.
  • Liquor eradication in more than 200 Villages.
  • Organised water, sanitization, Hygine education, workshops, numerous training programs in Food and Nutrition across Vizag and Hyderabad.
  • Extended his support for more than three decades for thrift and credit in more than three districts in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Provided professional services to more than 300 villages in Khammam, Vizag and Nalgonda districts with more than 1 lakh participants for self development, utilization of government funds and policies and other community development activities.
